Sadly I Discovered the Chilling Truth

Few years back While me and my friend was going back home from office in a local bus, we were standing near the driver’s seat, when I noticed an old woman (in her mid 60s) dressed in an old cloth & was looking more like a maid or a homeless person, She had a toddler with her about 3 years old, who was in deep in sleep, he looked fair in complexion wearing a school top and a trouser that look as if he belonged to some well-off family while on the other hand, the woman didn't look like it.

At first, I tried ignoring it while calling my friend attention to it but then I gathered all my courage and asked her in a firm voice "is this kid yours" she gave us a confused look and said, “No, it's my daughter’s kid.”

My friend then asked where is her daughter to which she pointed at some back seat which I couldn’t see as the bus was already very crowded

I then stayed quiet for few minutes, my friend started a conversation with her asking her some little things which she was struggling to answer, and without her noticing, I pinched the kid to see if he is really sleeping or if he is unconscious with some drug, To my wonder, I found that even after pinching several times, the kid didn’t respond by crying or by waking up.

I was some how convinced that she is a child thief and we informed the driver about it, the driver was smart enough & stopped the bus midway and he asked the woman about the child and his mother

She got nervous and tried escaping that's when we got her and didn't let her go, We then informed the police who then arrested her and investigated about the child and finally after some days of struggle and visits to the police station, the officers found the real family of the kid who belonged to.

we later found out that the woman took that boy from the boy aunty place after he was dropped from school
